2011 Bistro and MAC Award winner for Outstanding Vocalist, Kevin Dozier, had a wonderful 2010 year, as he made his critically acclaimed Feinstein's debut, and had sold-out runs at The Laurie Beechman Theatre, and Don't Tell Mama's under the musical direction of Alex Rybeck with direction by Lennie Watts.  2010 also brought his second feature appearance at The Mabel Mercer Foundation's Annual Cabaret Convention at Rose Hall in Lincoln Center and he was featured in 2 editions of the Bistro Award winning, Phil Bond production of "Sondheim Unplugged".  In addition he was chosen as a contestant for the 1st Annual Cabaret Competition held by The Noel Coward Society and was honored to be a featured performer with Steve Ross at The Noel Coward Society Annual Luncheon.

Kevin's highly acclaimed debut album, "Love-Wise", is now available on Itunes.  "Love-Wise" made many of 2009's top album lists including Broadwayworld.com's Top 10 Vocal Albums of 2009.  Produced and arranged by Christopher Marlowe, the album features love songs from the Great American Songbook.

Kevin proudly returned to New York City in 2005, after 10 years in San Francisco, where he was named "Male Cabaret Performer of the Year" in the San Francisco Cabaret Competition.  He made his critically acclaimed NYC cabaret debut at Don't Tell Mama in June of 2008, followed by several successful runs at The Metropolitan Room.  These performances garnered him a MAC Award nomination in 2009 for Best Male Debut Performance. 

Kevin has performed with many acclaimed entertainers including Bobby McFerrin, Carmen McRae, Kim Kuzma, Terese Genecco, Barry Lloyd, and Ida McBeth.  In New York he has performed at Feinstein's, The Metropolitan Room, Don't Tell Mama, The Laurie Beechman Theater, The National Arts Club, and most recently was a featured performer
at The Mabel Mercer Foundation's Annual Cabaret Convention at Lincoln Center in 2009 and 2010.  In San Francisco, he headlined shows at The Plush Room, and performed at the San Francisco War Memorial and Performing Arts Center.  Kevin also worked professionally as a studio-singer for many years in Kansas City, MO.  He has studied with Marianne Challis, Marilyn Maye, Scott Barnes, Jackie Presti, Richard Nickol, Kirby Shaw, Gene Puerling, Phil Mattson, Steve Zegree, and Bill Grace.

Kevin has worked as an executive with numerous Retail companies including Sephora, Williams-Sonoma, and Barnes & Noble.  Currently as a Senior Executive with Coach, he knows more about Handbags than he ever thought possible.
